ABOUT FORTIFIED SAFETY

My company is based around family values. After growing up in the small town of Midlothian, Texas, I joined the U.S. Navy as an Aviation Electrician and was stationed in San Diego, California. Shortly after being honorably discharged, I worked as a Project Manager in the construction industry and started pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health. Before completing my degree, I was able to start as a Safety Specialist in the steel manufacturing industry. After finalizing my degree, I was able to work my way into Safety Management in the cement industry and continued to work my way into higher levels of Safety Management. I also completed a Master’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health during this time and now strive to complete my Ph.D in Occupational Safety. I have completed my ASP and CSP certifications with the Board of Certified Safety Professionals as well. Today, I operate my own business as a Safety Consultant where I help companies improve their safety programs and safety performance.
